The concept is very simple. Till date, ambulances are of a very prime importance specially in cases of emergencies. But in almost all the big crowded cities like Mumbai, Its hard to touch in time for these ambulances either to reach patient or to reach Hospitals in TIME. In both these cases, the sufferer is only the patient.
By looking at the todays traffic, Only TWO WHEELERS can dazzle the path to lead all the traffic. This is the common site even in any signal.
Then why can't we combine Scooters with Ambulances? The design is very simple. Trying to attach a well protected stretcher to a scooter body diagonally so that the patients feet will be somewhere near the drivers hip. A compounder or a caretaker can also be easily accommodated behind the driver.
Just think of a Handicapped scooter. We can modify that too..
This Scambulances will be...
1. Cheaper that Ambulances..
2. Quicker.. faster..
3. Any ordinary polyclinic can afford it..
4. Easy to access to both Patients and Doctors.
I do not know whether this concept will work or not but I want to try it..
There are some problems in implementations of this...
1. RTO permissions..
2. Patients / relatives acceptance..
3. Providing additional suspension in order to have patients journey more safer..
4. Carrying of the additional loads like Oxygen Cylinder, ECGs etc.
But I think these points can be overcome by proving the utility and making a prototype of this..
AND THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM..
